This green juice is the one I drink on a daily basis. It is delicious, refreshing and super-healthy. You can’t help but feel so much better for drinking it, even if you’re not used to drinking a lot of greens. Continue reading
This week has been such a diverse week for me – marking Raw Teacher Training video exams, running a business training call on web sites, assisting one of my business groups with reviewing their entire online presence, hosting my final free Raw Coach Training call in my 3-part series, speaking with those interested in being part of the training, speaking with my event planner, adding an additional boxing lesson to my weekly training schedule, getting rid of bags, shoes and clothes that have been hanging around for over a year since I veganised my closet… and there was even a long and intense visit to the dentist in there as I needed a tooth rebuilt, as well as a long Skype meeting with my graphic designer. Welcome to the Rawganized Kitchen Makeover Week 1, where we’re going to make the biggest inroad possible right away by clearing out those cupboards.
Even if you consider yourself to be pretty organised generally, if anywhere is going to need some attention it’s going to be your kitchen cupboards because they are the easiest place to “lose” things, for things to get buried or hidden, and also for things to be stashed – especially the things that you’d rather not have in your kitchen, but you’ve been too afraid to trash. Traditionally hummous is made with cooked chickpeas (garbanzo beans). In raw food cuisine it’s made with sprouted chickpeas – or at least it is by those who like it! For those that don’t (and I sometimes do, sometimes don’t…) then here’s a great alternative. Continue reading
So this week I did indeed post my first blog post on my fitness journey so far. From the questions I’ve beengetting on Facebook, it seems that many people arevery interested in how I’m putting myself through my paces in the mechanical jungle, and I’m more than happy to share. Continue reading
Every once in a while there comes a point where we want or need to take stock of our lives. Perhaps it’s because of a significant life event that forces our hand, such as a relationship split, a house move, or a redundancy. Or perhaps there’s simply an inner call to “clean house” or make a fresh start, because life has started to feel a bit too cluttered, complex or things just don’t seem to work anymore. Wherever you are at in your life right now, if you’re feeling the call to revisit some fundamentals in your world in order to move onwards and upwards, this week I’m going to be sharing some power questions to help you do just … Continue reading
So, it’s been 9 months since I started going back to the gym after quite some hiatus. This decision came about because I realised that just living near a gym wasn’t getting me fit (!), and swimming every few days was also not cutting it. It was time to get into serious action if I wanted to have the body of my dreams, and do it before I got “too old”… I know that for me, when I want to get stuck into something and “drive the train home” in whatever it is I’m looking to master or achieve, I first need to be super clear on my vision and my WHY, and then I need the right 1:1 support … Continue reading
Hemp seeds are one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. Indeed hemp itself is one of the most versatile plants on the planet.
Over the years I’ve seen a lot of people benefit from making and drinking hemp milk on a regular basis, especially guys wishing to bulk up a little, however over recent years the focus has shifted to chia and other seeds, and yet hemp is and will forever remain a king among seeds. So if you’re ready for lots of healthy omegas, protein and minerals at your next drink or snack time – let’s get to it! Continue reading
This past week has been one of my most special of the year so far, because finally I got to launch the Raw Coach Training. This is a project I’ve been working on behind the scenes for most of this year. The amount of planning and thinking that goes into such a project is rather significant to say the least, and now comes the fun part… waiting to see who steps forward to be part of it. When I first introduce the concept of Vision Boards to my clients and students, typically half of my audience have heard of them, and only a third, or less, has actually created one. Assuming roughly the same figures here, I’ll briefly explain more about what a Vision Board is, how you create one and how you can turn it into a Raw Lifestyle version if that’s where your focus is right now. (Trust me, this is GREAT FUN!) A Vision Board essentially is a pictorial representation on card, paper, wall or board of what you would like to have show up in your world in the next chapter of your life (for this particular activity we’re talking twelve months). It … Continue reading
